Juliet's Happy Tail Image
Juliet came to Protectors of Animals from a municipal shelter after she was found roaming the streets with another dog named Romeo. He was quickly adopted, but Juliet stayed behind — waiting, watching her friends leave one by one, and wondering when it would finally be her turn.

We shared her.
We talked about her.
We told everyone how special she was.

But the applications came slowly.
Then one day, everything changed.
Her future family saw Juliet’s famous spa day photos and instantly fell in love. Beneath those adorable pictures was a gentle, loving princess just waiting to belong to someone.

There was only one problem — they weren’t quite ready to bring her home yet. So they visited her at the shelter,  brought friends to meet her and took her on special day trips and made sure she knew she was already loved.

When the day finally came for them to move into their new home, Juliet was their very first priority. She didn’t just get adopted… she was chosen.

Today, Juliet is thriving. She was enrolled in training classes and is excelling, happily learning how to be the very best companion. She spends her days playing in her fenced yard, tossing around her toys, and her nights doing what she waited so long for — cuddling on the couch with her family.

Good things truly do come to those who wait… and Juliet couldn’t be happier.
